SHBASH is a Palestinian-Jordanian rapper and producer based in Amman, releasing music since 2019.
Background
Scene Noise names him as Bashar Saleh. His sound combines electronic textures and heavily auto-tuned vocals with introspective lyrics on identity, politics and heartbreak. Complex MENA describes melancholic, hard-hitting beats tied to Jordan’s nightlife.
Releases and milestones
“Sawarekh” with The Synaptik passed 1.2 million YouTube views. “3’AREEB” followed in February 2023, co-produced by Smokoholic. “MGHABESH” came out in June 2025. In early 2026 he released the four-track EP A5r Zman, including “Dawaween” with Rknddn, “Da3na” and “Mooj”, and later “Absar Leish” with Rknddn and Big Murk. A UK headline debut at Ormside in London was announced for 27 November 2025.
Where to start
“MGHABESH” is a good first listen; A5r Zman gives the broadest picture of Jordan’s underground rap scene.
