Zukenee is a rapper from Atlanta, Georgia, known for medieval-themed trap and for the 2025 projects Slaytanic and Knight Shift.
Background
Zukenee calls himself a “Slayer” and builds his music around medieval and dark-fantasy imagery. Stereogum describes his sound as 2000s-style trap with jumpy synths and soft, Zaytoven-style piano, and Complex lists him among its 26 rappers to watch in 2026.
Releases
He put out Castle and Playful in 2022, then Guillotine and Birth of St. Slay in 2024, moving away from heavy Auto-Tune toward more traditional flows. Slaytanic (2025) is a 13-song mixtape of about 25 minutes, with the tracks “Cut Ya Hand” and “Game Winner”, the latter produced by Cade and Murda Beatz. Knight Shift, his second project of 2025, was reviewed in November 2025 and is led by the single “Kino Der Toten”, with Atlanta artist Sk8star among the guests.
