Vei Habache is a Puerto Rican urban artist from the island’s underground, working between indie trap, reggaeton and perreo.
Background
Remezcla describes him as a fan favourite since 2020, with a raw, unfiltered style that mixes introspection with crude humour. La Mezcla places him in the new wave of Puerto Rican urban music rooted in street culture.
Releases and milestones
“Taína” (March 2025, with Tommy Blanco and Fanta Rosario) was followed by “D1UNA”, released on 16 January 2026 with a violin intro and a hard reggaeton drop, produced by Whoopyy. Remezcla includes him in its Artists to Watch in 2026 and says a debut solo album is expected in 2026.
Where to start
“VIH” (official video) is a direct introduction to his sound.
