Huh! (Heo Sung-hyun, 허성현), formerly known as Rose De Penny, is a South Korean rapper who competed in two seasons of Show Me The Money and released the album 926 in 2022.
Background
Huh! built his career in the Korean independent hip-hop scene. According to a July 2022 LiFTED profile, he took part in seasons 8 and 9 of Show Me The Money without reaching the finals, and the exposure helped launch his career as an independent rapper. He said he changed his stage name from Rose De Penny because he says “huh” often in his music.
Releases
His releases began in 2019 with “1번 (Number One)”. The album 926 has ten tracks, mixes R&B, trap and East Coast hip hop, and is led by the single “DDKD” featuring JUSTHIS and Dynamic Duo, whose video was published in June 2022. Other videos from the album era include “uh-uh” (with Kid Milli and Gaeko) and “EXS”.
