Background

She studied at the University of Indonesia and, after graduating, worked in an office for about three years before the label Underground Bizniz Club offered her a recording contract. In interviews she has said she wants more representation for Southeast Asian artists.

Her debut mixtape No Bethany followed on 26 April 2019. After signing with Empire Distribution she released the album Can’t Speak English on 20 November 2020, with guests including Euro, Ted Park, Pyra, Sihk and Inayah.
